A Note from our President
Three years ago, my high school graduation was quickly approaching for me. At that time, I had no idea where I was going to be going to school that Fall. I was quirky homebody who had zero interest in moving far away from my family. If you would have told that goofy little happy go lucky girl who only cared about her camera, her dog, and her small town that she would soon be the president of a sorority she would have never believed you. Today, although I am still that goofy and happy go lucky girl, I am also a strong, independent, and confident Chapter President.
When going through recruitment, I told the women of Delta Gamma that I was looking for a place where I could have fun doing nothing. As weird as that sounds, that’s my belief of what true friendship is and it seems to really resonate with people. Delta Gamma has given me my future bridesmaids, the women who sing throwback songs at the top of their lungs when having a bad day and a group of women who constantly push me to want to be a better version of myself. Although I never envisioned myself being the Chapter President, it is my personal mission to share the light of Delta Gamma with as many people as possible. Hopefully, this light will be shared with you!
