A Note from our President
Letter From Our President
The Delta Omega chapter of Delta Gamma is an incredibly special place for myself and my sisters. It not only nourishes and exhibits the values of Delta Gamma, but our chapter takes pride in our inclusivity and compassion. I think that our chapter specifically excels in helping young women broaden their perspectives and thought processes. Our members like to share their life experiences to help find a deeper understanding of one another and to remind ourselves that no one is what they appear to be and that our pasts do not define us.
Being a part of this chapter brings many young women a feeling of purpose, belonging, and confidence. This chapter is always ready to encourage one another to become better people and encourage leadership through kindness. Oftentimes, when people think of leaders, they think of the loudest person in the room, but our chapter values a leader that can lead by example and makes decisions based on the needs of their sisters and the community.
Our members know that if they need the support of any kind, they’ll always have a sister to turn to. They know that we will hold each other accountable and be one another’s biggest cheerleaders. Without Delta Gamma, I would not be the woman I am today, and I know many of my sisters feel the same. We have laughed, cried, learned, made mistakes (and fix them), and helped our community together. I am so glad that I found my home at William Woods University in Delta Gamma.
I hope everyone reading this finds a place to drop their anchor,
Kelsey Evans
President
